Wish List.

I always have a ever growing wish list on my phone. I split it into Need (things I have tried and need to buy asap) and Need to Try (which tends to be brand new products thats I really want to try). Today I thought I would show you a small snapshot of the soft of things I have on my wish list.

Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil
‘Next-generation retinoid oil to reduce pore size, improve appearance of damaged skin and help fight wrinkles.
With an advance retinol complex, Luna helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles while simultaneously correcting damage caused by the sun, time, and pollution. Use this oil before bed to notice firmer, clearer skin by morning. Trans-retinol ester fights the look of fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of skin elasticity while an essential oil complex calms and soothes skin. Cold pressed avocado, chia, and Concord grape seed oils sink into skin for quick absorption of actives while boosting radiance.”
I haven’t used oil for a long time, and tend to find over winter oil works better for my skin then a cream. I have seen so much hype about this oil and how fantastic it is meant to be; therefore I know I need to try it. The only downside is it cost £85 for a 30ml bottle!

Colors by Llarowe Nail Polish in Falsetto Child
'Is it black, blue or green, I will let you decide? A black holographic polish that changes with lighting and hand position.'
This is literally one of the prettiest and best done black holographic polishes I have seen on the net. Usually the black really drains out the holographic tones, however from what I can gather this polish is just amazing. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Cirque Colors Nail Polish in Concord
A royal purple with a rainbow holographic finish.’
Concord is a fabulous cool-toned purple metallic with a linear holographic effect. I usually don’t go for bright purple, however this colour is amazing. Plus, Cirque is one of my go too nail polish brands for holographic nail polish, therefore I know I will love it!

Essie Leave No Trace Glitter Remover
Sparkle all night but make sure to leave no trace. Apply a pea size amount onto nails and allow product to sit for up to 30 seconds. Gently massage entire nail surface to break up glitter particles. With cotton pad, wipe and clean nail.’
Now I love glitter and holographic nail polish, however when it comes to removing them it’s a whole different level of hatred. It takes so long to just do one little fingernail! I haven’t been able to find many reviews on this, so I’m guessing its rather new, however the few I have read it sounds amazing makes removal so easy and quick. What more could a glitter and holographic nail polish addict ask for!

Essie Gel Setter Top Coat
Jet setters need solid, go-getter shine that works as hard as they do. Essie’s’ gel setter tops any of your favorite Essie colors with all the cushy, rock-hard shine of a gel, in a foolproof formula for at home manis and pedis.’
I am always looking for a new topcoat. Just like everyone else I’m looking for the perfect last all week with minimal wear wonder topcoat, but I doubt that’s going to happen anytime soon. Anyway, this is a new topcoat by Essie, and I’m really intrigued to try it. Obviously something made Essie (who are usually first to do most things) draw out their gel topcoat release, especially as so many other nail brands have already released theirs. Can’t wait to try it!

Dior Addict Gloss in Tiara
‘The magical touch of fashion and shine. Dior Addict Gloss is a declaration of love for fashion, an electrifying whirlwind of sheer glossy colours that light up the lips with shimmering, pure or pearly mirror shine. Use alone for spectacular shine and a veil of colour, or in touches over lipstick for added shine in the center of lips.’
I love glitter and I love Dior. Therefore it’s not surprising that I totally adore the limited edition Tiara lip-gloss by Dior. I tried it the other day, and it is so pretty. It doesn’t feel gritty like most glitter lip-glosses, and it adds a slight plump to the lips. Overall its so pretty and can be worn on its own and even over your favorite lipstick you add a sparkle. Not going to be long before this comes home with me!

Cleanse, Prime, Strengthen and Grow.

No7 -
Nail Cleanse & Prime and Strength & Grow treatments
No7 isn't really a brand I have ever tried. My mum uses and loves their skincare, but I have never really been drawn to their counter. Maybe it’s due to the other higher end and shinier counters that tend to surround it! However, not long ago my mum bought me these two brand new nails treatments as part of her 3 for 2 and I was super excited to give them a go. I have to say…there are pretty great!

Nail Gym.

Ciate -

Treatment Collection

The Ciate Treatments Collection has been a long time coming – the brand has focussed on exciting packaging (the gorgeous Ciate houses) and a vibrant colour collection, so the foray into treatment products is very interesting. So far, the packaging, with its little spanners and underwear (an undercoat, presumably) is beautiful.
This is a super sneaky peek at the Ciate Treatments Collection – it doesn’t hit stores till March at least, but when it does, you can expect botanical blends, exotic oils and plenty of nail loving vitamins within the formulas. I’m always on the look out for nail treatments since mine are always suffering one way or another – I’m so looking forward to getting a closer look!

Speed & Tonic.

Ciaté London –
Speed Coat & Nail Tonic

Whilst having a good nosy round TKMaxx the other day I came across these two little products. At the minute I really love Ciate products, and therefore I was really excited to try their treatments rather then just the polishes. Now, after my Dior Gel Top Coat becoming unusable due to it become pretty much glue…making application horrific (never going to be buying this again) I was really in need of a new top coat, therefore the finding of this was pretty darn good timing, and in regards to the hydrator, I keep going on and off gel polish, therefore after a few weeks of gel polish my nails where in serious need for some TLC and this sounded perfect.

Nailkale.

Nails Inc -
NailKale Illuminator and Superfood Base Coat

Before I say anything about the actual products, I would like to say I love the new bottles. The silver caps come off to reveal the actual brush (like Butter London and Chanel polishes). I liked the old packaging and I have lots of bottles with the round caps but I think the new style looks more expensive and pretty amongst my nail polish collection.

Wish List.

EOS Smooth Sphere Pomegranate / Blueberry Acai Lip Balm is something that has forever been a cult product for a lot of people. It states it’s a luscious lip balm, which delivers the perfect balance of flavour and moisture. Rich in Antioxidants and Vitamins, Smooth Sphere Pomegranate Lip Balm has a 100% natural and 95% organic formula, which helps to nourish and hydrate the lips. A blend of Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil works to soothe the lips and provide long lasting moisture. I never wanted one of these little lip balms mainly because they were so difficult to get hold of, however now that BeautyBay.com is now selling them, I’m incredibly eager to try one.
Kiss Everlasting French Wrap Kit promises a salon-perfect french manicure. It states it a easy and fast way of achieve the perfect french smile line without polish, right from home. A flawless french manicure that lasts up to 2 weeks without chipping! Now, I know I did a post about how much I loved the Elegant Touch Flawless Manicure Kit, which is very similar to this, however the upside of this Kiss version is that it allows you to purchase refills of the tips. Alongside this, they state they last longer as the Elegant Touch version promises a week, where as this one promises 2 weeks.
Magnifibres brush-on false lashes promises to instantly lengthen lashes by up to 5mm. This little product claims to create stunning false lash effect in seconds all you have to do is simply brush on the natural fibres between coats of your favourite mascara to add incredible length and volume. I haven't ever used false lashes before, mainly because the glue that you use with them worries me. Due to having sensitive eyes I get worried about using glues, mascaras and liquid eyeliners. However, this states its suitable for sensitive eyes, so I'm hoping it would be a great alternative to false lashes.
OPI Nail Envy Soft & Thin nail strengthener promises to fortify and strengthens weak, thin and damaged nails. Featuring proven Nail Envy technology, Nail Envy Soft & Thin is enriched with extra Calcium and a blend of Sea Minerals and is formulated especially for soft and thin nails. Designed to infuse strength, health and vitality into weak, thin and soft nails, this high-performance nail treatment is easy to apply and delivers long lasting results. I’ve been using the Original Nail Envy for the past couple of months, and as much as I like it, my nails become soft and thin again between using it. Therefore it made me wonder if I wasn’t using the right one, or the one that might benefit my nails most. I think I will definitely give this a go, and maybe buy and use the OPI Maintenance Envy to help maintain my hopefully healthy nails between treatments.

Nail Envy.

OPI –
Nail Envy Original Nail Strengthener

I've heard so many bloggers rave about the O.P.I nail envy nail strengthener but as much as I try to avoid being a sheep this was on sale, so I'm adding to the hype!
I always use some type of nail treatment as a base coat and I must admit that I never really notice a difference with these products because I assume that naturally are just really weak from acrylics. BUT...with this I must say there was a noticeable difference. When I'd had it on for a couple of weeks under various other nail polishes and then removed it my nails were literally ROCK HARD (like, you cannot bend them at all) I'd go as far to say that it would be quite a challenge to break one (not that I'm going to try).
The consistency is quite runny when you apply it so try to scrape a little bit off the brush beforehand or you'll end up with it all over your fingers. It also does take a few minutes to dry so if you use it as a base coat like me then I would advise leaving your nails a while to ensure its dry before applying a colour. I have experienced quite a bit of streaking over the past couple of weeks when using this so I need to investigate further into whether it is this causing it or the polishes I'm using, maybe I'll try applying a base coat over the top of this as well.
I’ll be honest, I’m not sure I would pay £18.75 for this, however whilst ever BeautyBay have it on sale for £12, I think I will carry on buying it. On the other hand, I might try the sensitive one as my nails have more of a tendency to peel.

Have you tried any of the OPI Nail Envy products?

Nail Must-Haves.

My nails are currently the best I have ever seen them. Their longish, strong and healthy looking, which is exactly what, I want my nails to be. There are a few products I really swear by to help keep my nails in good condition, and also keep my manicure (when I decided to paint my nails) looking fresh and fantastic.

butterLondon Horsepower Nail Fertilizer
'This nail rejuvenator is one of our ALL TIME favourite products! Formulated with an herbal ingredient called 'Horsetail' that has been shown to strengthen and repair nails. When used properly, the results are really quite staggering! Apply one coat every day for 7 days, then remove and begin again. Use for one month. Horse Power Nail Fertilizer can be used as both a basecoat & topcoat.'
I totally swear by this nail strengthener. Its beyond incredible! When I wear nail polish for a while my nails become really quite weak, however a week with this miracle worker and their strong, healthy and incredible all over again. I know a lot of strengtheners state that in a couple of days they will help your nails to grow, and as someone who has tested this claim many times, I have to say this truly does stand 100% by this claim. My nails are incredible after using it once every day for a week, its unreal how strong they've become in such a short amount of time. At £17, I know its not the most cheapest nail treatment on the market, however the bottle is 17.5ml, which is larger then most other treatments and it truly will last you a long time. If you have trouble with your nails being weak, peeling or you just want a treatment to help keep your nails in top shape, then you definitely need to invest in this. You won't regret it.

butterLondon Holiday Handbag Cuticle Oil
'Coconut and Pineapple scented cuticle oil that will have you dreaming of your last holiday, as it heals and nourishes your cuticles.'
I’ve always loved using cuticle oil or balms. However I tend to swap and change a lot because I haven’t ever found one that is perfect, they either leak, run out too fast or just don’t do anything wow enough for me. However, due to recently falling in love with a lot of butterLondon products I thought I would try this. This is truly amazing. This has really helped make and keep my nails healthy and strong. It smells amazing, like coconut and pineapples, which reminds me so much of going on holiday and topical cocktails. Its mineral oil free and free from any other unnecessary nasties, which is fantastic. The brush is easy to use and makes putting a drop of oil on each nail super easy. You then simply just massage it into your nails and cuticles and it soaks in pretty much straight away. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new cuticle oil or for anyone who hasn’t ever tried using one.

butterLondon Polish in Disco Biscuit
'A tropical hot-pink jelly with an undercurrent of tiny iridescent glitter particles.'
Disco Biscuit is a bright pink jelly packed with purple micro glitter. Lets face it, mostly wanted this for name reasons but it turns out that it's a gorgeous polish too! The glitter sparkles like crazy in the sun and is nice and visible inside and in low light also! Formula wise this beauty is a jelly! If worn alone it takes a good 4 coats to built it up, however I find it works amazingly layered over a hot pink shade. I find this is one of the longest lasting nail polishes I own, it very rarely chips which is amazing. One thing to not is that when this dries it is fairly dull, therefore it needs a good topcoat, but trust it definitely shines ones the topcoats on.

butterLondon Polish in Petrol Overcoat
'Sheer, tornate overcoat. Brush on top of any butter LONDON lacquer to transform the shade, or use alone. The opalescent sheen of oil reflected in rain.'
Petrol Overcoat is a shimmery turquoise to purple shifting "overcoat," meaning that it's sheer enough to wear over another colour yet opaque enough to build up on its own. I actually really like wearing this on its own, as it becomes opaque in just 3 coats, and application is just flawless. I think it would be really good over other darker colours such as deep blue or purple, bringing out those elements of the polish. I keep meaning to try this over black, however I’m worried that it may loose some depth to the polish. Never the less this truly does look like petrol in water and is just an incredible and utterly unique polish. One thing to note is that its rather thin, therefore if your used to quite thick polishes this may take a little getting used to, but will definitely be worth it.

Mavala Nail Polish Thinner
'A few drops of Mavala Thinner will restore thickened nail polish to its correct consistency making it easier to apply in thin coats: two to three fine coats will last longer rather than a thick coat of nail polish that will flake or peel within a couple of days.'
Before this I had never had any experience with nail polish thinners before, and until recently I hadn’t thought of buying one. I used to just throw away polishes once they went horrible and gloopy and repurchase them if I liked the colour enough. However, my nail polish collection is grown and this means I don’t always get to use them all the often, therefore they tend to go gloopy much more quickly. Therefore instead of just throwing them away I decided it was time to test out nail polish thinners…and I’m so glad I chose this one. You simply take any gloopy polish and add two or three drops of thinner, give it a good shake and leave to settle. I tend to this before I do my base coat, this means its all settled by the time I’m ready to use it. It works wonders for a gloopy polish and even those that are just a tiny bit too thick, one drop will make it easier to apply. It doesn’t affect the formula or colour of the polish at all; it just makes it much easier to apply. This is truly a godsend and a must have; it gives gloopy polishes a whole new life!

These 5 products are literally going to stay life long staples in my nail collection forever.
They're amazing!

Nail Foundation.

butterLondon -
Nail Foundation
Every since trying butterLondon Horse Power nail strengthening treatment, I have been totally head over heels in love with butterLondon products. Whilst looking on their website I came across this, which is described as a Nail Foundation Flawless Base Coat, which hides and smoothes tiny ridges and imperfections in the nails, it is basically like cover up or foundation for your nails. The website highlights 'this silk-finish, stain resistant, non-toxic base coat nail lacquer provides the perfect foundation for butter LONDON 3 Free Lacquer'. The main thing I really like about butterLondon products is that they are free of parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, phthalates, GMOs and triclosan.

This is amazing. It works so well at smoothing out nails and creating a perfect base for nail polish. When used under polish, it not only smooths out ridges, but it also makes the true colour of the polish come through much more clearer and true to colour. Some polishes I own tend to need three or even four coats to make the colour look perfect, however using this as a base coat, I only needed 2, which is just amazing. In regards to longevity  I have found if you apply the base coat a little too thick, it can cause the nail polish to nip within 3-4 days. Whereas if you apply it thinly, and allow it to dry completely then it can last just over a week...incredible.
Another way I use this is on its own, to create a better natural nails but much better look.

It is defiantly one of the best base coats I have ever used.
If this sounds like your dream base coat, then you can pick it up in BIG boots stores or online for between £15-£18 depending where you look.
