Oh-So-Sweet.

My Boyfriend Is Amazing!

My boyfriend doesn't do surprises very often, however tonight he surprised me with this pretty PINK (my favourite colour) rose. He'd bought it earlier today, whilst on his dinner break, and gave it me whilst walking round the woods with his dog, who is just adorable. I just thought I would upload a picture and tell you all about it, its something he doesn't usually do, and my blog is becoming something of a memory bank...therefore in some ways i wanted to document this incredibly romantic and cute gesture from him.
He's just amazing, I love him so much more everyday that passes :)
Whats the cutest/most romantic thing your boyfriends ever done for your?

Weekend in Manchester.

Best Weekend Ever!

My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend in Manchester, he literally only told me we were going like the week beforehand...somewhat quite worrying as hes not usually the SURPRISE type of person and leaves it to me to book everything...until now. We went this weekend, going dinner time Friday and coming back mid-day Sunday, and the whole weekend was just incredible and the weather was definitely on our side as it was so beautifully sunny and hot, which meant the dresses and skirts were out for the whole weekend (which isn't like me at all).
This post is just a quick overview of what we did over the weekend and where we visited.
Friday;
Friday was incredibly hectic, and the morning was focused primarily on packing and getting ready to go. My boyfriend had to go to work in the morning, however he finished at dinner so I had until then to get everything ready and sorted. I have to say, for a weekend, I had a lot of things with me, it was apparent I went slightly over the top packing wise. At 1 it was finally time to go, due to me never have been to Manchester before, it was easy to say I was incredibility excited. Instead of going to the hotel straight away, we decided to go to the Manchester City Centre, we thought it would be rude not to, especially with the sun shining. I never expected it to be as big, I think you could walk around all day and still not have seen it all because its ridiculously huge. However most of the best shops; Selfridges, Harvey Nichols etc were right in the centre, and you are forever surrounded by restaurants and cafes, so if you get peckish there's no worries about trying to find somewhere to go. The thing I was most focused on however was finding a Shu Uemura stall as I really wanted one of their lipsticks, there has been so much buzz about them that I really wanted to try one, and hopefully get treated to one by my amazing boyfriend. I finally found a counter within Harvery Nichols and the lipsticks are stunning (a review is to follow). One thing I have to say is that everything in Manchester, the shops, the counters etc are all really pretty and the designs are impeccable, they really focus on making there building look eye catching and really beautifully stylish, this definitely made the experience even more memorable. After a full day shopping and looking around, and a quick something to eat at CafĂ© Rouge we thought it was time to go find the hotel; which was actually a good 20 minute drive from Manchester. It was just out side of Wilmslow which is a very pretty little town. It was actually a really nice hotel and really quite with a pub/restaurant next door which meant we didn't have far to travel for breakfast, which turned out to be all you could eat which made my boyfriend a very happy person indeed in the morning.

Saturday;
Saturday we woke up early for breakfast and headed to the Trafford Centre at about half 9. The building is just mesmerising beautiful, I wish I could live there is so stunning...my mouth just dropped when I saw it. Inside its actually not that much different from the shopping mall near me, other then it had a John Lewis and a Selfridges, but overall the building and the feel of it was so amazing its really hard to explain how amazing it is just to look around and be there, everyone should really go because its fantastic. Whilst there I did buy a few make up things, which I will do individual posts on sometimes soon. The rest of the day was spent looking in  all the shops, and we even went back to Manchester City Centre for a change of scenery and bask in the sun for a bit. I did also get a SuperDry top, which I thought was really pretty. I did aim to get some holiday clothes however being 6'2 and a size 8, clothes have a tendency of stressing me out when they don't fit properly, so I just bought make-up mostly. On the way back to the hotel we did stop in Wilmslow, we thought originally it was just going to be a quite little town, with the usually shops boots, superdrugs, river island etc. However, it was definitely one of those, "don't judge a book by its cover moments", it was really nice, it also had a Hoopers which was something neither me or my boyfriend had heard of, so imagine our surprise when we walked in and saw Chanel, Dior etc make-up counters a massive Mulberry bag counter...its easy to say we were confused and somewhat shell shocked, it turns out Wilmslow is actually a very posh little town with some really massive houses which are just fairy tale houses that everyone dreams of living in. Overall it was a really lovely, chilled out day and I really loved it.

Sunday;
There isn't much I can say about Sunday, it was just basically re-packing everything and loading the car. It was weird because I really didn't want to come home, the weekend had been really incredible and we don't usually get to spend a whole weekend together because of him working and other things. We nipped to Stockport on the way home, to have a look around and get out of the car, it was just ridiculously warm even with all the windows down. It wasn't anything special, just a strip of shops like in most towns. I was looking for a SpaceNK however there wasn't one which really was quite disheartening.

Overall, the weekend was unforgettable. I was treated like a really Princess, and the weather just made it that bit better, I really do think the sunshine puts you in the best of moods, my boyfriend was also a real prince charming and as lovely as every. I really urge anyone who hasn't been to Manchester to really go, its a really lovely place to go, especially if you enjoy shopping, however I also saw many museums so I guess it has something for everyone there. The Trafford Centre is also someone I believe everyone has to go, even if its just to go and look around, the building is just stunning and something you would never expect to see. I'm hoping we'll be going back again at some point soon, as there is so much I think I missed the first time round.
Oh and by the way, in regards to my Manchester Dream List, which I posted last week...it sort of, pretty much went out of the window. I think I bought like 3 things out of the 5 on it, and one of them I bought before I actually went to Manchester (TIGI Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff). However I did buy many make-up products, so dont worry there will be at least 5 new blog posts coming shortly.
Have you every been to Manchester or The Trafford Centre, what did you think to them?

Dumb Blonde.

TIGI BedHead -

Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff

I wanted to buy this in Manchester, however it was on offer on HQHair, therefore I thought I would buy it whilst it was on offer...also I couldn't wait till the weekend to buy it.
It's easily to say, when this arrive at my door I was incredibly excited to try it. The packaging of this is incredibly cute and stylish, it's so compact and looks so pretty. The metallic pink lid is most defi the highlight of the the whole packaging and makes it look, in my opinion, more expensive then it was.

The description says: "Shine, defrizz, and add the perfect finishing touch every time you use Bed Head Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff. Created by blonde's for blonde's and all the colours in between, Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff makes hair smooth, frizz-free, soft and hydrated. Just apply some stuff to your just finished hair, and watch those frizzy fly-aways disappear."

The products itself is a mix between a gel and a cream. It a really light, silky texture and disappears as soon as you run it through the ends of your hair. Its a very pearly looking colour, this I believe is what gives it the incredible 3D shine, which is just show stopping and something many people have commented on. However the other thing which is incredible about this product is the smell! Now if you have ever tried any TIGI BedHead products you will know they have a tendency of smelling intoxicating lush, but the smell of this just blows the rest out of the water. Its really hard to explain what it smells like, I personally think its rather floral, however my boyfriend thinks it smells like a mix between candy and fruit...either way it smells divine. Another point to highlight is that no one out of the reviews I read before buying this products mentioned it ever weighing down their hair, this was a key point for me as my hairs is already lifeless as it is, without it being weighed down. It also doesn't make it greasy at all, if anything its makes your hair look really nice and healthy after using a bit of dry shampoo, overpowering that powdery look which dry shampoo has a tendency of gives you (not a good look).

Even though it is only a little tub, 50ml to be specific, you only need a little dab for your whole hair (usually I use whats on the lid). I then rub it between my hands, and run it through the ends of my hair and on any frizzy bits or fly-aways on the top. My hair is left impeccably tamed, and all of my hair looks healthy, shiny and smells amazing.

TIGI BedHead in general is a brand I don't come across often within the blogging world, and I don't really see why. All there products are amazing, but this is my clear favourite, everyone should buy it. Its originally priced at £10 (FeelUnique) however I do know if you buy this in shops its usually £14/15.
Me on the other hand bought it from HQHair for only £7, with free delivery.

Have you ever tried any of the TIGI BedHead products, if so which are you favourites?

Manchester Dream List.

Next Friday I'm going away with my amazing boyfriend to Manchester for a nice weekend away full of shopping and relaxing, something were both in need of due to him working stupid hours and me having my A-Level exams...something I should be revising for, however I've chose to do this instead.
Therefore, I thought I would give you a sneaky look at what I'm hoping to buy, make-up wise whilst I'm there. Now, this isn't a list of what I'm going to get indefinitely...it just ideas of what I would like to purchase whilst there. You may also notice, many of the things on this list are actually from my wish list...which makes me a very happy girl indeed.

(from left to right)
  • Dior Extreme Spectacular Shine in Paris - This is very much like my Baby Rose version, which I'm in love with, however its much more hot pink, but still with the stunning glitter entwined. The shine on this is unbelievable, I think its even more glossy then the Baby Rose version and its utterly divine. This is one of the products on this list I'm most definitely getting.
  • Estee Lauder Matte Perfecting Primer - I received a tester of this, and I really like it. However I've only used it once or twice, therefore I'm thinking of giving it a 3 day test whilst at Manchester, wearing it under my DiorSkin Forever foundation. Based on the few times I've used it already I really like it, it helps keep my foundation stay all day and it doesn't get nearly as oily as beforehand.
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Flash and Psychedelic Sister - I'm in love with Urban Decay eye shadows, there most definitely my favourite brand of eye shadow's, they last all day and don't crease at all. These two shades are amazing, there both purples however one is much darker and they are both shimmer, which means there luminously sheer, however without glitter. There the two most stunning shades I've ever seen and I cant wait to buy them.
  • Chanel Coco Rouge Shine Lipstick - I've been looking at these lipsticks for a while, many people really rave about them and therefore I thought I would try them out when I go to Manchester. There slightly cheaper then the Dior alternative, however I'm looking at these more so for a hydrating everyday lipstick, then a night time lipstick therefore the additional high shine property is a real bonus point. Due to me really loving pink shades I've got my eye on three different shades; Chance, Aventure and Romance. Out of all three Romance is no doubt my favourite from looking at the swatches as its a medium pink, however overall is the most pink out off all the collection.
  • TIGI Bed-Head Dumb Blonde Smoothing Stuff - I have a tendency of switching between Paul Mitchell hair products and TIGI products. I spotted this when I first started using TIGI products but couldn't find it anywhere, and therefore seemed to forget about it. However recently I've really liked using a smoothing serum on my hair after styling it or before I go out later in the day, just to give it that just done look. I bought the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum with the initial idea of using it for this purpous, however it definitely works better on wet hair as a sort of leave in conditioner and smoother then as a everyday smoothing/shine serum. Therefore when I spotted this on a website not long ago it really got me intrigued and after some serious research (as I do with all the products I'm thinking of purchasing) it came up thumbs up. Another highlight of this product which made me want it even more, is that pretty much everyone commented on how amazing it smelt, and how you could use it as a type of hair perfume to make your hair smell incredible, therefore it became official that this would be mine.
As you can tell from the reviews of each product, I'm not 100% about buying everyone of them. These are just ideas about what I'm definitely going to look into purchasing...however as soon as I get back I will write a short Manchester Haul post, showing you all what I have bought during my no doubt amazing trip to Manchester.

Everyday Make-Up.

This will be a quick post about what make-up I use pretty much everyday, unless I'm going somewhere special.
Be warned its very picture heavy!

Stila - Perfect + Correct Foundation in Tone & Real Techniques Stippling Brush;

This is my current daytime foundation. When I first bought it I really loved it, I thought it made my skin look radiant and really rather stunning. However as I keep using it I'm beginning to go off it quite a lot. It doesn't seem to be lasting that long on my skin and for some reason it just seems to...disappear on my face after a few hours which is really annoying when I'm busy all day. On the other hand it seems to work in fits and fads, sometimes I really love it, others I really don't like how it applies and therefore I spend a lot of time making it look blended and how I originally wanted it to look...which takes a lot of time.
My stippling brush on the other hand is amazing, it always makes my foundation look flawless and is really easy to use.

Clinique - High Impact Mascara & Shu Uemura - Eyelash Curlers;
 I used to use the Benefit They're Real mascara, and I really liked it, however I received a sample of this mascara in the post a whiles back I totally fell head over heels in loved with it. Its incredible. It adds so much length and volume to my eyelashes its unreal, and the intensity of the back is also really stunningly dramatic. I originally wanted to use it for just special occasions but I couldn't find another mascara I loved so much, therefore i use it everyday. Another real bonus is that it keeps the curl in my eyelashes all day, this I create using my beloved Shu Umura eyelash curlers. At first I was the slightest bit reluctant to pay £20 for eyelash curlers however now I'm so happy I did so and will carry on buying replacement pads as I now cant live without them.

Urban Decay - Naked Palette;
I received this for Christmas, and I love it so much. The colours are incredibly pigmented, and to be honest due to me being a brown/neutral lover, I haven't found any reason to buy any other eyeshadow since buying this, other then the odd purple or blue. I have used every single one of the eye shadows in this set, and you can create so many different looks from them. My particulate favourites are Virgin, Sin, Side Car, Hustle and Gun Metal however I use every single one of them.
Bobbi Brown - Bronzing Powder in Medium;
This is one of the best bronzer I've ever used, however I am planning on buying the Nars Luguna when this runs out, just to see what its like and if it lives up to the hype. However back onto this bronzer, I have it in Medium, but if I was to repurchase I may look at going for the shade lighter as this can sometimes be overly brown, and with a small tint of red in it which sometimes looks overpowering. Its fabulous for contouring which is what I normally us it for, or if I'm just wearing powder foundation then I use it to give me a bit more of a sun kissed glow, and make sure my face is blended in with the rest of my neck/chest. Overall this is really brilliant, I have tried the MAC bronzer as its 100% better in my opinion.

Benefit - Hervana Blusher & Girl Meets Pearl (tester size);
This is my favourite blusher, and I think it will stay that way for a long time to come. Its gives such a natural stunning flush onto the cheeks which is just stunning. The fact its made up of 4 different colours also means that  every time the colours that bit different which really helps keep your make up looking fresh and new everyday. Another thing I really like about this blusher is its really build able, so on those days when I want a tiny bit off colour I just use a tiny bit, however its really easy to build it up to a really rather heavy pink colour (however this isn't something I particularly do, I like it more when its rather light). Girl Meets Pearl is something else I really enjoy using on a day to day basis. Its only a tester as I got it as part of a kit my sister bought me for Christmas, its a cream highlighter, which isn't something I've ever used as I normally go for a powder highlighter. However this is amazing, its just the right amount of a pearl colour to really highlight your cheekbones and brow bone without looking overdone, which is really nice for a natural everyday look. You also only need a small amount, which means this very small little tester has lasted me a very, very long time. Would I buy it again...I'm not sure, it is really stunning however I have a Chanel Highlighter which I really like as well. However it was limited edition and very expensive, therefore I would maybe look at buying the full version of this as an everyday highlighting product.

Benefit - BrowZings in Light;
My eyebrows were something I never really focused on...that was until I had a make over at the Benefit counter and she showed me how to do my eyebrows using this little kit, and it really made such a difference to my whole face. It consists of a wax (the darker colour) and a pressed powder (the light brown). This is in the shade light because I have blonde hair as therefore my eyebrows are really rather light. This little kit is amazing, its really easy to use and the pay off is incredible. I use this everyday, and I hate it when I miss doing my eyebrows in the morning if I'm in a rush, it comes with 2 little brushes to apply the product and a small set of tweezers, the brushes are OK, however sometimes rather fiddly, but they do the job and therefore I'm happy. This is something I will definitely repurchase, however I've had it ages, and I still have so much left, so I cant see me running out any time soon.

MAC lipstick in Creme Cup and Chatterbox;
MAC lipsticks are something I really like to use, there cheap and cheerful for everyday use and stop me waisting my Dior and Chanel lipsticks. These are my two favourite everyday shades, as there the most natural shades I own. Creme Cup is ultimately my favourite, its a baby pink, with a blue undertone and its so pretty and natural, giving that slight pink colour and making your lips look really lovely. Its a cremesheen, and therefore when summer comes it means its staying at home, as they do have a tendency of melting if they get too warm which is the only down side to this lipstick. Chatterbox is much more pink in comparison to cremecup, in my opinion its somewhere between a pink and red. Its really nice when your going somewhere nice and you think you need a bit more colour on your lips however not too the extreme of a shade such as "girl about town". This is an amplified creme, this means its a nice creamy consistency however is very pigmented. Both of these are really fabulous, however I don't think there lipsticks which I would run out and buy if I had just run out.

Cleanse and Tone.

Korres -

White Tea 3 in 1 Cleansing Water

I've become somewhat of a skin care fanatic, and I'm really enjoying seeing my skin become really healthy and much more spot free. This 3 in 1 cleansing water is the latest addition to my nightly routine and I'm really enjoying using it. A while ago i was looking into buying some Korres products, specifically the pomegranate tester set,which allowed you to sample the products before actually buying the full size version. Out off all the things in the set, this was one product which really caught my eye, i had been wanting a new toner for a while, one that actually did what it said on the bottle...and this definitely does what it say on the bottle.
The overall idea of this 3 in 1 water is that it removes everyday impurities, face and eye make up whilst also toning the skin. The organic white tea extract is a rich source of polyphenols which demonstrate strong antioxidant action, along side this the hamamelis extracts due to their astringent action, help tighten skin pores, whilst soothing and calming the skin. Due to it being soap and alcohol free it means the natural cleansing agents ensure excellent compatibility with the eyes and skin, no matter how sensitive.
In my option this is the best cleansing water/toner i have ever used. Its amazing. Its a 200ml bottle and it will definitely last me quite a while, especially as you only need the smallest amount. Now this is something which i really want to highlight as the main bonus of this product, most other water based products run out really fast, this is mainly due to the cotton wool pad soaking up more of the product then what actually ends up on your face. However, the thing I've noticed about this is that it...foams up, which means you need a small amount and it seems to become a foam and expand into twice as much, which means your face gets a good clean and the bottle lasts you twice as long. In regards to the results so far, I've only had this a week or so, and its really amazing as i notice a real improvement in my skin straight from the start.
Normally this retails at around £16 pounds however i came across it in TKMaxx for only £7, i thought this was a really good price as it allowed me to try it out and see how well it worked before paying the full price. I don't really like TKMaxx however i have to admit, sometimes you do come across some really good stuff.

Whats the best thing you've picked up from TKMaxx?

Sleeping Beauty.

Origins -

High Potency Night-A-Mins

I never really thought about using a night cream, if I'm being truthful I just thought it was something my mum used to try and battle the fun side-effects of ageing. However, I thought it was a bit strange that everyone who's videos I watched on YouTube all used night creams, they said it was a good way to rehydrate your skin whilst you slept and overall just helps improve your skin. Therefore I thought it was something I would try out, and see how it works...after some very in depth research which involved reading soooo many blog, I bought the Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins renewal cream. It claims that by using resurfacing ingredients plus Vitamins C, E & H, minerals & moisture-rich replenishes, it helps remove dry flaky layers to reveal brighter texture and clarity, leaving skin looking rested, renewed and richly replenished in the morning.
This is really hard to judge because I ordered this offline, and the day it arrived I had just purchased my Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk, this means that even though my skin looks much clearer and overall much fresher, I don't really know which is to thank for that. I have also bought a Korres 3 in 1 Cleansing Water (review to come), and since using that my skin has become even better.
However in my opinion, I don't really think my skin looks that much brighter, maybe a little less dull in the morning but nothing extreme. It does feel much more moisturised in the morning, and I don't have any dry skin on my face which is something I used to really have a problem with. In regards to my skin looking rested, renewed and replenished in the morning...this I haven't yet seen. The one thing I have to say about this cream is it smells incredible, so fresh and really relaxing, the texture however is rather strange. At first I imagined it to feel really creamy like most other on the market, however this is completely different, its almost feels greasy...at first I really didn't like this, but it does soak into the skin quite fast and leaves it feeling happily moisturised.
Would I repurchase this again...I'm not really sure just yet. Its £31 and due to night creams being something I havent much knowledge on just yet, I think its only right to test out other night creams, maybe ones which are a little less pricey, and see how they compare. I have to be totally honest for £31, this really let me down, I thought it was going to make my skin look really replenished, radiant and fresh in a morning...which it unfortunately doesn't really do.

Do you use a night cream, if so whats your favourite?

Tantastic.

Xen-Tan Dark Lotion

I love having an all year round tan, however due to me being extremely pale...that would never happen naturally. Even when I go away I never get a tan, I just burn then go back to being my usual pale self. This is what started me using false tan in the beginning, however back then I used a gradual tan, it gave me a natural tan however due to me being quite young, it wasn't that expensive. It wasn't until recently I discovered Xen-Tan.
I originally bought the Xen-Tan Deep Bronze Luxe, however even though it was amazing, it was really difficult to apply, this I believe was due to there being no guide colour, therefore I couldn't see where I'd already applied it. I also found it dried incredibly fast and was really hard to rub in, therefore you had to work fast. This ultimately lead to me wanting to try the lotion version. I've been using it for a few weeks and it is so much easier to apply, and it also has a guide colour. The colour using both products is pretty much the same, they leave me looking naturally brown without one little streak, meaning it looks blissfully even. Packed with rick moisturisers and premium ingredients, this glides onto the skin and leaves it feeling both nourished and silky smooth. Enriched with coconut and walnut oils, it aims to achieve a stunningly natural olive tan, which lasts an exceptionally longtime. In my opinion it lasts around 5 to 7 days; I strip it off Wednesday night and apply a fresh new coat on Thursday, however it does begin to fade on Monday, and due to this I have a bottle of Garnier Skin Naturals Summer Body Moisturising Lotion in dark to just mix in with my moisturiser after a shower...I apply this all over to help me keep looking beautifully brown. However I do have quite a hot shower every morning, and therefore the heat from the shower may be the cause of why it fades so fast.
The one thing which did catch my eye when this arrived was the new and improved, fabulous packaging. I think it makes it look so much more high end and elegant then just a slandered false tan. The pump is also very handy, it means I can get my false tan even...two pumps for each leg, one pump for the top of my arm etc. It also allows me to ration it, so I don't go over the top with using a lot when I really done need to, this was another problem with the other Xen-Tan product I used, it came in a tube so it was really messy and hard to judge how much I would need, often using way too much.
Overall Xen-Tan is definitely my favourite brand of false tan out of them all...its incredible and I love the idea that you only have to apply it once a week instead of every day or every other day, and yet you stay brown for the whole week...pretty much. When I bought this a few weeks ago it was only £18 from FeelUnique.com, however now it appears its gone up to £22, which I guess isn't bad, but its still a really big jump in price. On the other hand, I will definitely be buying it again, it's really good and I really like the colour and how easily it applies so overall its my new Holy Grail false tan.

Whats you're favourite false tan brand on the market?
Whats your biggest false tan mistake?

Daytime Foundation.

Stila -

Perfect & Correct Foundation

I recently purchased the DiorSkin Forever Foundation, however at £33 a bottle...I didn't want to waste it. Therefore I wanted to buy a somewhat cheaper daytime alternative. I was originally going to buy the Bourjois Mix Serum, as many people thought it was the best drugstore foundation on the market. However after I tried a sample, it wasn't really as good as what I hoped for.
Therefore after searching the net I came across the Stila Perfect & Correct Foundation. Many bloggers loved it and it received 4.1 on MakeUpAlley.com, therefore I was completely hooked...however it was £29 for a 30ml bottle, so I guess its not that much cheaper then my Dior foundation. In my opinion it looks like a dark version of Mr Whippy ice cream which is just amazing, this is due to it having the foundation itself, a primer and a unique multi-mineral complex all swirled into one. Other then this the real thing which drew my attention to this foundation was the added benefits the foundation has, which are aimed to help keep your skin healthy and glowing.
The key benefits are;
- swirled with an advanced emolient system
- unique multi-mineral complex
- contains potent antioxidants and skin soothing chamomile
- helps diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles
- helps hydrates and balance the skin
- helps minimise pores and controls oil
- high definition and high performance
- weightless, medium coverage
- energised with Stila's exclusive Youth Revival Bio-Available Mineral Complex.
To those who aren't really sure what this "exclusive Youth Revival Bio-Available Mineral Complex" is...in short, this complex promotes youthful looking skin, radiant finish, balanced skin, it adapts to your skin tone and type, its a multi-use products which means you can layer it for more coverage and most importantly it provides you with a clean, classic, beautiful complexion.

Its available in 8 shades, and for me it was really hard to find the perfect shade I needed. I found that I was more closely matched to Tone then that of Medium, which is a shade higher, however a lot darker. When I got home I found it really suited my skin well, however it does oxidise slightly which makes it that tiny bit darker...this could be what makes it suit my skin so well. Its really rather easy to apply onto the skin and due to it having added primer, it helps cut out a big step and means my own primer will last much longer. Its really light coverage at first, however like it states above, its really easy to build a lightweight coverage where you need it most, and its really quick and easy to apply and results in a glowing complexion.

Overall this foundation blew my expectations out of the water. Its amazing. The coverage is perfect for a daytime foundation, you only need a small amount to cover your whole face and to focus on covering that odd spot. I wore it today and it lasted 6 hours at least without needing a quick dab with blotting paper (this is really good for me, I have really oily skin and my forehead becomes oily in record time), and even then my foundation still looked amazing...like I had only just applied it. It doesn't go patchy but instead just fades, therefore it doesn't make your skin look a complete state by the end of the day, which is really incredible. Another key point is that as of yet (touch wood), it hasn't fetched me out in any spots, however if it was to do so, it would no doubt be something to do with the Youth Revival Bio-Available Mineral Complex, which like skin care, your skin has to get used to. However even that wouldn't stop me using this foundation, it leaves my skin looking luminous and so beautiful, the lasting power is fabulous especially as I usually wear it all day long. In my opinion its definitely worth the £29 I payed for it, I'm definitely enjoying using it and so glad I chose to buy this and not a cheap high street foundation.

Have you ever tried Stila's Perfect & Correct Foundation, if so what do you think of it?

Oh-So-Peachy.

Soap & Glory -

Peaches and Clean Cleansing Milk

Due to testing a range of foundations last week, in order to find my new holy grail foundation, it's took a bad effect on my skin...its spotty, dull and looks completely unhealthy. Therefore I thought it was time to try a new face wash, due to my normal one just not cutting it this time. I originally planned to go and buy the Origins Zero Oil Deep Pore Cleaner, however at £19 and with mixed reviews from other bloggers, I thought it was time to do some scouting for a cheaper alternative.
Therefore when I was in Boots the other day I was looking at every range and at every cleanser, that was when I found this hidden gem...Soap and Glory's Peaches and Clean.

It's a 4 in 1 wash-off, deep cleansing milk. It claims it uses a special clogged t-zone formula which includes peach extracts, quillaja bark, jojoba oil, Detoxyboost technology and Poreshrink R2 for a clearer, fresher and brighter complexion.

I haven't been using this for very long, however all my spots have pretty much gone and my skin is left feeling soft and fresh. I personally use it both in the morning and at night, however wash my face twice with it at night; once to remove my make up, as this pretty much just melts my make up off and the second time to just make sure my skin gets a really good clean. At the beginning I thought it was going to be far too strong for my face, however to say my skin is really sensitive, it's not had any bad reactions to this cleanser, which is a really good sign.

Overall I really love this cleanser, it smells amazing and really makes you feel more awake in the morning. My skin is left smooth, spot free and really moisturised, however not stripped which is what usually happens with products aimed at spot prone skin. Obviously I've not been using this for a very long time so therefore if I do have any bad reactions to it or think there's something you do need to know about this cleaners I will type up a quick post about it. Its only £7 for a 200ml bottle, which will last you a very long time. It's sold in all boots stores that sell the Soap and Glory skin care range and can usually be found on 3 for 2, which is a really good offer. Its not expensive at all, and really work wonders for the skin.

I'm definitely going to be trying more products from the Soap and Glory skin care range.
