A Little Bit of Korres.

For a while now I've been looking in to the Korres products. The reviews of their products swayed quite a lot depending what products I looked into buying. Therefore I thought I would go basic with what I wished to try, I really love my Kiehl's routine and my skin seems to be liking it too so I didn't want to change it too much. Therefore I chose to buy:

Pomegranate Cleansing & Make Up Removing Wipes
These are really "refreshing wipes that cleanse the skin and remove make-up efficiently from both the face and eyes. The pomegranate extracts are rich in antioxidants, helping to tighten the pores whilst toning and refreshing the skin." I'm really unsure about these wipes. On one hand they're really refreshing and leave my skin feeling clean and their really good for getting rid of make up. However they don't seem to be doing anything for neither my pores nor the oiliness of my skin which was the primary reason I purchased them. I've also found that they tend to dry my skin out a lot as well, which during winter is a really big issue.
Overall I dont really think these are right for me...they seem a bit too harsh, however they do also sell a "Milk Protein" alternative. The website states they "moisturise the skin whilst cleansing and removing make-up efficiently...milk proteins, rich in essential amino-acids, offer nourishing and moisturising properties, while Aloe and provitamin B5 soothe the skin from redness and irritations". From the description the "Milk Protein" alternative sound better for winter, therefore I may try these when mine run out, to see if there any better. The pomegranate wipes retail for £7 and the milk protein wipes are £6, both versions have 25 wipes, I purchased mine from FeelUnique.com.

Mandarin Lip Butter Stick SPF 15 in Pink
I'm a sucker for a lip balms, especially during Autumn/Winter as my lips are constantly dry and chapped, therefore I like looking around for something which really works for me. The original lip butters which come in a little tub are really popular, however due to me having quite long nails, a stick is always a better option for me. Therefore I thought I would get the new stick version in pink (as you all know I love pink). The website states it provides instant hydration and softens the lips. Shea butter an Sunflower wax deeply nourish and offer long-lasting care, while Mandarin oil conditions dry lips". Firstly, the packaging is amazing! Its so cute and girly and makes it look more exciting then just a lip butter stick which is a serious thumbs up for me. The product itself is really smooth, moisturising and the colour pay off is really quite good for a lip butter. I did have really dry lips last week, mainly because I has a really bad cold, and they seem to have healed really fast in comparison to normal, and this lip butter is all I've been using, therefore it gets 10/10 for me.
Overall I really like this lip butter. It's super creamy and does everything it says it will. It definitely keeps my lips moisturised for a long time, therefore I don't feel I constantly have to re-apply it. It retails for £6.50 (once again I bought it from FeelUnique.com), which is quite a lot in comparison to some other brands, however personally I really think its worth it, purely just for the fact my lips are left moisturised for hours after applying it. Would I repurchase...if I don't find a better alternative, then definitely, however I do think it will be hard to beat.

Have you tried any Korres products, if so what do you think of there products?

Cleanse and Tone.

Korres -

White Tea 3 in 1 Cleansing Water

I've become somewhat of a skin care fanatic, and I'm really enjoying seeing my skin become really healthy and much more spot free. This 3 in 1 cleansing water is the latest addition to my nightly routine and I'm really enjoying using it. A while ago i was looking into buying some Korres products, specifically the pomegranate tester set, which allowed you to sample the products before actually buying the full size version. Out off all the things in the set, this was one product which really caught my eye, i had been wanting a new toner for a while, one that actually did what it said on the bottle...and this definitely does what it say on the bottle.
The overall idea of this 3 in 1 water is that it removes everyday impurities, face and eye make up whilst also toning the skin. The organic white tea extract is a rich source of polyphenols which demonstrate strong antioxidant action, along side this the hamamelis extracts due to their astringent action, help tighten skin pores, whilst soothing and calming the skin. Due to it being soap and alcohol free it means the natural cleansing agents ensure excellent compatibility with the eyes and skin, no matter how sensitive.
In my option this is the best cleansing water/toner i have ever used. Its amazing. Its a 200ml bottle and it will definitely last me quite a while, especially as you only need the smallest amount. Now this is something which i really want to highlight as the main bonus of this product, most other water based products run out really fast, this is mainly due to the cotton wool pad soaking up more of the product then what actually ends up on your face. However, the thing I've noticed about this is that it...foams up, which means you need a small amount and it seems to become a foam and expand into twice as much, which means your face gets a good clean and the bottle lasts you twice as long. In regards to the results so far, I've only had this a week or so, and its really amazing as i notice a real improvement in my skin straight from the start.
Normally this retails at around £16 pounds however i came across it in TKMaxx for only £7, i thought this was a really good price as it allowed me to try it out and see how well it worked before paying the full price. I don't really like TKMaxx however i have to admit, sometimes you do come across some really good stuff.

Whats the best thing you've picked up from TKMaxx?

Mango-tastic.

All hail the Korres, Mango Butter Lipstick in Frost Pink.

This is a soft, rich, baby pink lipstick, with a slight shimmer to it, reminding me slightly of MAC's Angel however more pink and much more moisturising (thanks to the mango butter). The consistency is incredibly creamy and just glides onto the lips, providing a slight shimmer at first, however this can be easily built up to a dazzling baby pink with an incredible shine.

This highlights my ultimate must go to lipstick for everyday use, simple, moisturising and incredibly beautiful with added SPF 10 meaning its going to be a staple product for summer. Its also one of my favourites to wear with a smokey eye or if I'm rocking a sophisticated, natural, night time look and want something a little more special to make my lips look utterly spectacular, without going over the top with a bold pink.

Overall this is my favourite lipstick in my collection. It lasts such a long time on the lips and even survived a few glasses of wine and dinner, still looking fabulous afterwards, therefore reapplication is only needed maybe once or twice throughout the whole night.

The price is rather reasonable at £15, its a bit more expensive then a MAC lipstick or a high street lip butter, however its definitely worth it due to the moisture it provides alongside the stunning colour. It leaves my lips feeling really soft and they were definitely thanking me afterwards. However the downside to all this, is that finding it within the UK is incredibly difficult. I bought mine online on the House of Fraser website, however you can also purchase it online at Bath & Unwind.

This is my first Korres purchase, however I will definitely be purchasing more form the brand as it seems really natural and lovely.

Have you tried any Korres products, and if so what did you think to them?
