Autumn Tag.

As it's now Autumn and I've been meaning to do a tag of some sort on here, I thought why not do the Autumn tag…so here it is!

Favourite thing about Autumn?
My favourite thing would be the weather.
It’s not too cold or warm, but there’s that brisk breeze which reminds you Winter and Christmas are just round the corner.

Favourite drink?
My favourite drink would be a hot chocolate, you honestly can't beat a hot drink when the weathers getting cooler. At the moment I especially like Starbucks Peppermint Hot Chocolate. It tastes just like Aero Chocolate!

Favourite scent/candle?
If I’m honest, as much as I like the thought of having candles all over my bedroom, I actually don’t always like them. They tend to give me a headache if they’re on for too long. However, if I have to choose one for this time of year it would be a Yankee Cinnamon Candle!

Favourite lipstick?
I don’t actually wear that much lipstick. I want to try a plum shade, because to me that sums up this time of year lipstick wise. However, I’m unsure about if I’m confident enough to pull it off. Right now however, I love the Lancôme Gloss in Love Lip-glosses. They’re super moisturising and shiny, what more do you need in a lip-gloss.

Go to moisturiser?
My favourite moisturiser at the moment is Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. However, I’m going to begin the look for a new serum or moisturiser to help keep my skin happy, healthy and moisturised over the winter months.

Go to colour for the eyes?
I always go to neutral colours through out all months, however at this time of year I also begin to add purple/plum colours into the mix, maybe even with a bit of sparkle for a night out.

Favourite music/band/singer to listen to?
I don't tend to listen to anything different depending on what month/season it is. At the moment I’m loving Katy Perry, her new album is amazing, as well as a few songs from Avril Lavignes new album.

Favourite outfit to wear? (I.e boots and a scarf combo)
I like to wear different things during Autumn, things like my Jack Wills gilet, nice knitted jumpers, scarves and especially my UGGs. Just the normal autumnal clothing, anything that keeps me warm.

Autumn treat?
During Autumn I like to treat myself to a new coat, this year I’m going to get a new gilet because my coat from last year is still amazing and looks as good as new. I also like to buy new gloves and scarves, because I think they really help to cheer me up as the darker days start drawing in. Other then that I wouldn't say I buy anything differently, maybe more autumnal coloured nail varnishes, extra DVD's for them cold nights in, little things like that!

Favourite place to be?
Without a doubt, I love to be out with my boyfriend with/without the dog, wrapped up warm, walking in the fallen leaves. Usually I make him stop by Starbucks after so we can warm ourselves up with a nice hot chocolate. PLUS I love Christmas markets!

Whats your favourite thing about Autumn?

November Wish List.

You might be surprised to see that this months ‘wish list’ is a little different to last months. Unlike last months, which was all beauty. This month is a mix of clothing and beauty. The main reason for this is I haven’t really got that many beauty products that I want, therefore I thought as I have quite a long clothing ‘wish list’ I thought I would mix the key products from beauty and clothing. Plus, as someone who reads blogs, I like to see what clothes bloggers have bought as well as beauty products.
Jack Wills Selsfield Gilet
A couple of years ago I bought the Jack Wills ‘Ingliston Gilet’, which is the classic and most popular gilet from Jack Wills. However, whilst looking on their website I came across the brand new ‘Selsfield Gilet’, and oh my…its fabulous. The main difference between the two…the Selsfield version is actually a wool mix, where as the original is waxed cotton. The website describe it as a city style mixed with county robustness; which sums me up pretty well as even though I like the city, I’m at my happiest in the country. It states the gilet has a wool mix outer layer, luxurious faux fur hood (which is detachable) and duck down and feather filling. Which trust me keeps you unbelievably warm! Even though its more expensive then the original, I think after three years plus of the original, its time to buy a new one! Just to note, it comes in two colours, I want the Navy colour, however it does also come in a brown, slight checked colour, which is also really nice.

Zara Two-Sided Soft Scarf
Everyone needs a new winter scarf. I don’t always do scarves, or if I do I tend to like chunky, knitted, snood like scarves. However recently I’ve really liked tartan, therefore this two-sided scarf is just so pretty. I like how it clashes patterns, and I think it would go with most outfits. There isn’t much I can really say about this scarf because I think the picture of it says everything.

Sigma F80 Kabuki Blending Brush
Currently I’m using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, which is amazing. However, I have been reading a lot about this Sigma F80 blending brush and it just sounds amazing. Everyone who reviews it or owns it seems to have flawless foundation and say nothing but how fantastic it is. Therefore this has lead to me trawling the Internet to find out where I can pick one up from in the UK. I’ve never used any Sigma brushes before because I always thought they were really hard to get in the UK, which in a sense is true…thank god for Amazon. Nevertheless, I’m really excited to try it, and have high hopes form this brush.

Superfacialist Tea Flower Pore Purifying Clay Mask
I have heard a lot about the Superfacialist products recently. Some people really love the range and some people love odd products. The one product that really stood out for me, and that people really seem to love is the Tea Flower Pore Purifying Clay Mask. The description of this mask states: ‘clear your skin of dirt, excessive oils and toxins that lead to breakouts. Containing Salicylic Acid, which helps unclog congested skin and oil observing Dead Sea Mud which is rich in magnesium, calcium, potassium and iron for the perfect detox facial at home.’ Doesn’t it just sound amazing!
Even thought I actually have a clay mask, which is by Origins, I sometimes find it slightly upsets my skin. However the reviews by people with sensitive skin about this mask say that even though you get amazing results, it gentle to the skin.

Dior Nude BB Crème – Shade 2
This is actually a repurchase, but never the less I thought it needed a little spot on my wish list. This stuff is incredible. I use it pretty much every day, and we’re not talking just to go to the shops. Wherever I go this is my base of choice, I even use it on a night out; it’s just that good.  I don’t really like heavy coverage foundation, even medium to heavy coverage makes me itch and tends to aggravate my really sensitive skin, my dermatologist puts it down to the fact medium/heavy coverage foundations don’t allow your skin to breath…something my skin obviously needs to do a lot. Never the less, this is a light to medium coverage BB cream with really good skin loving benefits. Its perfect for covering all those little imperfections, and with a touch of concealer helps give you the prefect naturally lovely complexion. Personally I think I’m going to be buying this for many years to come!

Current Hair Care - The Wash Addition.

I thought something I haven't talked about for a while is my hair care routine. I tend to change my hair care quite often, but I thought I would tell you what I'm using right now and whether I would repurchase certain products again.
When it comes to washing my hair, the products I use tend to depend on the condition of it at that time.
If its just a general wash and its in good condition, or if I'm going out that night and don't want it to be too weighed down by masks, I tend to use the Sebastian Color Ignite Milti Shampoo and Conditioner. This is a new brand to me and it was recommended by sister who loves their products. The conditioner specifically is really strange, it comes out as a foam and seems to disappear on your hair, which is unusual when I'm used to more creamy conditioners. Nevertheless, so far I really like it. I can't say if its making much difference to my hair, so far I can't say that its 'worked wonders', however it leaves my hair feeling clean, soft and looking shiny. Would I re-purchese it...I'm not too sure at the moment. I think I will definitely try another shampoo and conditioner from the brand, however not sure it will be this exact one.
If I've been using a lot of product in my hair, or if its not been washed for a while, (which sometimes happens when I'm wanting my hair to have more of a textured look, which I think personally looks better then my hair isn't exactly clean and is coated in dry shampoo), then I make sure I use a really good deep cleaning shampoo. I've tried many different 'deep cleaning' shampoos, however non have left my hair feeling as squeaky clean (literally) as TRESemme's Deep Cleanse Shampoo. Would I repurchase it...definitely. It's truly amazing at getting all the product out of my hair and leaving it feeling ultimately clean and healthy looking again. Usually alongside this I use a mask to put some moisture back into my hair. Recently I'm trying out the Pantene Aqua Light Lightweight Nourishment Treatment. I actually picked this up from Tescos because my hair was feeling really dry at the ends, and my mum told me to get it because it was aimed at fine hair. It states it helps to nourish hair without weighing it down, leaving it healthy and shiny. Im not exactly in love with this mask, it does a really good job, but I don't think it leaves it as moisturised as I was hoping for. Would I re-purchese...I haven't ever used a Pantene mask before this, however I think when it runs out I might actually go and look at the range in boots and see what other masks they have. Last but not least, I have be trying out Wella's Color Recharge Cool Blonde Conditioner. I haven't tried anything from Wella before, however my hair dresser gave me a couple of samples to try out. It aims to refresh blonde hair and even thought it says its aimed at cool blondes, I think its much better for highlighted blonde hair, in comparison to the warm blonde version. I used this the other day after the TRESemme Shampoo, and my boyfriend said how amazingly blonde my hair looked, he said it looked really shiny and much brighter. Therefore I don't think thats too bad for a 5 minute conditioner. Would I buy it...I maybe would buy the full version of this, however only use it maybe once or twice a month just to refresh my highlights. It does come out purple so be careful not to use it too often or leave it on too long or it may send your hair a purple/blue colour.

Just to note, everyones hair is different, therefore if you use some products or have used some of the products and have different views on them please leave your opinions below.
I would love to hear you comments!

Mini-Boots Haul.

Recently I went to Boots to do some Christmas shopping. I tend to buy most of my presents for my friends from boots, theres always something for everyone, especially for those people your unsure about what to buy. Whilst there I bought a few other things, some were essential because I had ran out or not far off running out, others are things I've been eyeing up for a while and decided I couldn't walk past them any longer.
I'm planning on doing individual reviews on most of these, so I won't go into too much detail.

The essentials.
L'Oreal False Lash Telescopic Waterproof Mascara.
I normally have the original version of this mascara, however as its coming up to winter I thought the waterproof version would be better suited. It is amazing for giving incredible length, a curl that lasts all day and a touch of volume, which is exactly what I want from a mascara. I have never know it to clump, smudge or flake and the brush is so easy to use. I really don't like those thick brushes that some other drug store and high end mascaras have, I find them to hard to use, and don't find they always coat every lash. This on the other hand does an amazing job of making it look like you truly are wearing false lashes. Another thing I love about this mascara is that its build able without clumping, I use on coat for really natural luscious looking lashes during the day, then sometimes add other coat or two for really show stopping incredible lashes for a night out or when I'm going somewhere nice.

Batiste Dry Shampoo.
Batiste Dry Shampoo is the best dry shampoo I have ever used. Not only is the quality really good but its also really good value at only £4 and really easy to pick up from Boots and Superdrug. I know there are some other dry shampoos which are meant to be good, but are far more expensive. Nevertheless, I believe if its not broken then why fix it. It does the job and smells amazing. Currently I'm loving the 'Blush' version, which is really florally and leaves my hair smelling amazing. However I think next time I'm going to either get the 'Oriental' (warm notes of rite, flowers and rich coconut) or 'Floral' (delicate notes of blossom, rose, orange and peach) version, which are the newest from the brand.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pure Oil-Free Primer.
Not long ago I picked up the original version of this primer. I did at the time think this 'pure' version was discontinued because I couldn't find it anywhere, therefore I resorted to the original. Now. I'm not saying the original isn't amazing because it is, however this version is aimed at sensitive, combination skin, which sums my skin up exactly. The website states its clear (whereas the original has a strange pink tint to it,) oil-free, and helps to minimise and sooth rednessness whilst helping erase pores, fine lines and imperfections. Im really excited to try this because it sounds amazing. I will be writing a more in-indepth review as soon as I've gave it a good try out. Im expecting great things from this primer.

The not so essential.
Chanel Taboo Le Vernis Nail Colour.
I haven't actually ever seen a Chanel nail polish which really took my eye before. Normally I see one I like the look of, take note of the name and look for a dupe for it. The main reason for this is because I haven't always justified paying £18 for a nail polish. Lets be fair, its pretty steep even for Chanel. HOWEVER. This nail polish caught me totally of guard. Its been raved about all over the internet and I haven't ever seen a polish which could even come close to how amazing this is. I planned only to go to the counter to have a look at it, however it is truly amazing and I ended up buying it straight away. Personally I think its incredible. Its a rich, deepened red-toned purple with iridescent shimmer that reflects red, violet, pink and coppery-red. Seriously its like galaxy in a bottle!

butterLondon Petrol Nail Polish.
I have been waiting for ages for this to be released. I was actually worried it wouldn't look as good in person as I was hoping for, however it does truly look like petrol in water. Its a beautiful purple/blue duo which changes depending on the light. I've been reading a lot of reviews about this, and it sound amazing. I originally was planning on trying it as an overcoat on top of black, however some people say it looses some of its colour which I think could be the same for Taboo also if you used it for layering. Therefore I think I will try it alone and over different colours to see which gives the best result. Never the less this is something completely different from anything I have in my collection.

If there is anything specific you would like me to review in-depth first leave me a message and I will be sure to get it written and posted as fast as I can.
