Filmstar.

Charlotte Tilbury –
Filmstar Bronze & Glow

“This is a secret that silver screen sirens have kept to themselves for years – and once I share it with you – so will you! With Filmstar Bronze & Glow you can slim, sculpt, shorten, trim and highlight your features. It’s amazing what clever shading and highlighting tricks can do to your facial framework - it’s an illusion that I use all the time, particularly for red carpet scrutiny, and my clients can’t get enough of it. Take what you were born with and maximise your assets with Filmstar Bronze & Glow!”

Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow is a stunning compact that features a bronzer and a highlighter. I can see why this is one of the most raved about products from the brand, as the texture of both powders is soft, finely-milled, and silky, while the bronzer is not too orange or yellow, and the highlighter is luminous without emphasising pores. There’s also quite a bit of product in the compact, so it’s a better value than some of the other products in the range. They’re both amazing products, and if you regularly bronze/contour and highlight, it may be convenient to have it a single palette together.

Filmstar Bronze is a medium tan brown with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish. It had good colour payoff with a soft, smooth consistency that applied easily and blended out nicely.
Filmstar Glow is a pale, champagne beige with a luminous sheen. It seems almost frosted initially, but it blends to a very luminous, glowing finish that doesn’t emphasise pores or the skin’s natural texture. It reflects light without looking metallic. The powder’s texture is silky, finely-milled, and very blend able.

Overall, the bronzer is the perfect universal blend of pearl and pigment to contour features and mimic a sun-kissed complexion and the highlighter is built up from a golden base that flatters any skin tone, and uses Light Flex Technology to capture light and radiate it out for a luminous complexion. The colour-rich pigments are rolled into pearls that smooth & buff the skin for excellent blend ability & perfect colour uniformity, who could ask for anything more from their sculpting and highlight duo.
I'm not going to lie, this isn't the cheapest product on the market, therefore at £49 its quite an investment. Never the less its truly stunning, and if you ask the assistant at the counter exactly how to use it (I asked just to be sure I was contouring correctly for my face/bone structure), then you are sure to get the most beautiful results!
