Fresh Glow.

Burberry –
Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base
“Discover Fresh Glow, our iconic Luminous Fluid Base. The effortless formula gives a spectrum of skin benefits and multiple effects – from instant radiance to moisturisation – while gently protecting against the elements. Ultra-fine illuminators give natural luminosity and light diffusion, anti-agers help restore skin elasticity and wild rose extracts increase hydration levels. The multi-effect formula can be used in a multitude of ways: On nude skin for moisturising illumination, as a hydrating and luminising primer under foundation or blended into foundation for a fresh radiance boost. To add highlights to nude or made-up skin – use it on cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, Cupid's bow and chin.”

Burberry is definitely my new make up downfall. Not long ago it was Dior, but right now Burberry is just spot on with their products. Whilst having a makeup session with one of the beauty artists, she used this little beauty on me and I new right then that I had to buy it. I bought this in Nude Radiance No.01, as the second shade was too dark for my skin, even in summer it would still be too dark. It is a golden-shimmered light beige that gives more of a pearlescent sheen than a distinct shimmer/sparkle and its just stunning.
Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Base comes with a similar packaging to their foundation. I am a fan of their packaging design and Fresh Glow is no exception. Remember, the cap covers a part of the bottle and giving the impression that it is tiny but what you see is just the half of the product. A pump dispenses the product so that it is easy to get the product out and it is hygienic.

It’s described as a “multiuse luminizer” that hydrates while illuminating. It’s a thin, liquid highlighter that can be used all-over the face, mixed with moisturiser or foundation, or patted on top of foundation for more targeted illumination. I find it is easiest to use mixed in with moisturiser or liquid foundation, and it will give your base a more luminous, dewy look that isn’t oily or wet. It is the type of product that I think translates better in-person than in a photo, as it livens up the skin and illuminates it without being flashy or obvious. I have definitely noticed I get a slightly smoother application of my base products as well as a subtle skin smoothing effect when using this.

Overall this is so lovely. I use it mainly as a liquid highlighter and so many people have commented on how much more healthy my skin looks because its got that beautiful glow to it. It does retail for £34, but it is 30ml and if you only use it as a highlighter like i do, its going to last you a super long time!
