A little spoiler alert here, and much to my utter surprise, I absolutely love this stuff! It makes my skin look so lovely, but we will get on to that in a bit.

First off the formula, Clinique is calling this a one-step wonder and are promising a flawless finish, coverage for blemishes, sun protection and oil and shine control:

- High Sun Protection Level – Broad spectrum SPF 40 safeguards against UV damage

- Up to 12 hour Long wear – film-forming polymer allows a lasting finish

- Oil and shine control – specially treated pigments and Silica ensure colour stays true and controls sebum

- Even Skin Tone instantly – light diffusing particles brighten the appearance of the skin

It’s a runny liquidy formula that you shake up, however it isn’t so runny that it runs completely away.

It feels really nice to apply and is very buildable very quickly which I really like. I have been using my fingers but a brush is effective too. You can use this as a primer for foundation, or alone. I have to say; I think it gives a beautiful coverage on its own.

Overall, I love this stuff a lot and I wasn’t expecting to which is such a bonus. I love the fact that it has SPF 40. If you have any spot scars this will ensure they don’t darken upon UV exposure. Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions BB Cream SPF 40 is available now for £27.
