Burberry –
S/S15 Runway Palette
“Introducing the Burberry Spring/Summer
2015 Runway Palette, featuring an artwork from the Prorsum collection. The
“Rain or Shine” motif, originally hand-painted in the Burberry studio reflects
the synergy between Burberry fashion and beauty. This limited-edition powder
palette uses colours from the womenswear collection: Pink Azalea and Bright
Coral red sit alongside a nude cloud on a Hydrangea Pink background. Effortless
to use, the shades blend together to enhance and highlight the skin with a
radiant glow. Contour the cheeks to highlight the cheekbones or apply to the
apple of the cheeks for natural radiance.

I love my Burberry makeup, and the more
I see from the brand, the more I love it. It’s always that fresh faced, bright
clean youthful look that I think we all crave. Take a little look at
the Burberry Beauty Spring 2015 Runway Palette – Rain or Shine! First off, how adorable is the Spring/Summer
2015 Runway Palette! The compact is identical to their regular Light Glow
Natural Blush, but it packs more product (9 grams/0,315 oz versus 7 grams/0,24
oz). For that reason, the enclosed brush is tucked away in a little pocket of
the velvet pouch. The powder itself is scented the same way as other Burberry
blushes.
The sparkling over spray on the
text wears off fast. Afterwards, you are left with a light pink blush with
a satin finish. Its made up of three shades; Pink Azalea, Bright Coral and
Nude. All the shades blend together to
create a soft glowing blush that gently highlights the skin. It took quite a while to actually use
this because it is so pretty, but I don’t have that many fresh blushes that I
love at the moment so I just went for it. And it’s so pretty. It gives a
beautiful flush of healthy looking colour along with beautiful skin-enhancing
luminosity and natural looking radiance. I think this is definitely one of those
‘different on every skin type shades’, this is purely down to how light it is,
therefore it would be interesting to see how it shines through on a range of
different skin types.
Overall, I think if you are a little
scared of blush then this is one to try as it applied softly and smoothly and
builds easily if you choose to go for more of a pop of colour. It’s pricey
though – £45 is steep for a blusher, but both the product and packaging is
beautiful and it comes with a good brush which has its own pocket in the velvet
pouch that accompanies the palette.
