Diorshow -
Mono Eyeshadow in Fairy Grey
"In a limited edition for spring, Dior's
Diorshow Mono eye shadow flaunts the personal crest of Christian Dior in
a holographic fairy grey. Use the dry applicator to create a light halo for a
natural look. For a more vibrant look, dampen the applicator to apply."
Today I would like to share my favourite pieces from Dior's Spring
Collection, Kingdom of Colors. I was
so excited to find out that this grey mono was not just another grey but it has
lovely multi-colour glitters inside. It is so magical so is its name "fairy
grey". I have already tried to capture the beauty of Diorshow Mono #045
Fairy Grey on pictures but photos fall short. It is something you should
see in person and I can assure you won't be able to resist. The glitters are
pink, blue, green and the base colour is not too cool, it is almost like a grey
taupe and has a hint of lavender in it. It has a semi-translucent base, making
it suitable for lightly dabbing over any other eyeshadow shade. However, it can
also be built up to full opacity either by using a damp brush, or a finger. The other thing that blew me
away was that due to it being very heavy on shimmer, I expected it to have a
lot of fall out. However, I have found when you apply it with a damp eyeshadow
brush, not only does it go on even more flawless, and packed with even more
colour, but there is no fall out what so ever. It is definitely a unique shade
to own, and so fun for a light wash of colour in the day or for jazzing up a
smokey eye look at night!
