Ecstasy Lacquer.

Giorgio Armani -
Ecstasy Lacquer
One by one Giorgio Armani Fall 2015 Beauty makeup products are being revealed. If there is one lip product that got my attention in the next season that’s definitely the new Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Lacquer which will be launched along with the new Armani Luminous Silk Compact Foundation.
So, the Giorgio Armani Ecstasy Lacquer collection has a new formula, which is moisturizing and hydrating like a lip balm while delivering an intense color and a shiny finish. Such an Ecstasy Lacquer that promises 8 hour wear long lasting formula, non-sticky gloss and a vibrant color is surely hard to resist to. I see purples, pinks, nudes and reds so my wish list is getting bigger and bigger while my wallet will be getting thinner and thinner. It comes in a crazy range of colours;
200 Night Berry (metallic effect)
201 Leather (varnish effect)
300 Tangerine (varnish effect)
302 Amber (metallic effect)
400 Four Hundred (varnish effect)
401 Red Chrome (varnish effect)
402 Red-To-Go (lacquer effect)
500 Vintage (metallic effect)
501 Uptown (varnish effect)
502 Boudoir (metallic effect)
503 Fatale (metallic effect)
504 Pink-Out (metallic effect)
505 Crescendo (varnish effect)
506 Maharajah (metallic effect)
600 Adrénaline (metallic effect)
601 Plum Vinyl (varnish effect)
602 Vertigo (varnish effect)

603 Night Viper (varnish effect)

Im crazy excited to try these Lip Lacquer. There are some amazing shades for the cross over between summer/autumn and some show stopping shades for fall. These will be released sometime in August and I truly can't wait.

Eye Tint.

Giorgio Armani -

Eye Tint

Next year will see the launch of Giorgio Armani’s new beauty product. This time, the famous haute couture designer and his namesake beauty brand are releasing an innovative liquid eye shadow named Giorgio Armani Eye Tint.
As explained in the official press release, Giorgio Armani Eye Tint is actually a liquid eye shadow, which dries upon contact with skin, leaving a sheer veil of color. The texture is long lasting and non-sticky, which means that it won’t crease, fade or run from your eyelids. Armani’s Eye Tint promises no less than 16 hours of perfect hold! The Eye Tint comes in 12 gorgeous intense shades, ranging from icy blue to black charcoal. These buildable eye shadows with metallic finish can be used for both glamorous and natural, translucent makeup, depending on how you apply it. The light, fluid-like texture is flexible enough to set as an elastic film on the eyelids, without caking, streaking, or leaving any residues… Its lightweight texture is formulated using the smart eye color film technology, which is actually a unique water and pigment suspension that feels fresh and comfortable on the skin.
This is definitely one release I’m super excited about! I love Giorgio Armani beauty anyway, and anything that promises a long lasting, metallic, stunning finish at least deserves a few swatches!

Maestro Fusion.

Giorgio Armani -
Maestro Fusion Compact Foundation
This multipurpose product conceals like a foundation, offers precise touch-ups, and camouflages blemishes. It's the perfect harmony between the lightness of a fluid and the comfort of a compact. Sophisticated and practical, it provides a new made-to-measure application step dedicated to achieving a pure, luminous finish with an unequalled second-skin sensation.

The waxes are able to adapt to different temperatures. This "Intelligent Melting Complex" creates a unique composition that blends seamlessly with the skin, regardless of the application method. The oils were carefully selected for their "skin fusion alchemy and comfort." Five non-greasy dry oils that evaporate at different rates were custom-selected to deliver comfort, protection, and softness. There is a new addition to the blend: argan oil, known for its nourishing and antioxidant properties. The argan oil, along with vitamin E and SPF 29 protection are at the heart of the Maestro Fusion Compact's formula to ensure hydration and continuous skin care.

As soon as the product comes into contact with the skin, thanks to the Intelligent Melting Complex’s transformation properties, Maestro Compact instantly changes into a light cream texture, giving precise and comfortable application. You can apply this cream foundation with your fingertips (I'm not big on that idea).

If you apply it with brush, a fine and comfortable film is left on the skin to immediately correct your complexion, creating a flawless finish. The formula instantly becomes one with the skin. After using it, I found my complexion even, pure, shine-free, and radiant. For really precise, simple, and buildable application, the Giorgio Armani laboratories created an exclusive brush (half synthetic and half natural bristles) that is housed in the compact. Its shape, composition, and travel-friendly size all combine to offer an easy, delicate application. I actually like the brush - rare for me to like brushes provided in compacts.

I have been waiting for the Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup Compact since the murmurings about its creation surfaced last year!  This foundation formula does not disappoint!  From the sleek and compact packaging to the gorgeous buildable coverage, I daresay I prefer this version over the original Maestro, whose coverage and lasting power were dubious on days when I needed both.  At £49, this is a bit of an investment, but overall, I predict that most foundation enthusiasts will likely find that the supreme nature of the product justifies the cost.

Personally, I believe that my wait for this formula was well worthwhile...highly recommended!

January Wish List.

Unlike many other wish lists, which usually are fairly long, this wish list isn’t that long. Mainly because there are a lot of things I’m interested in, however wish to try them and test them in-store first. Therefore I have split this into ‘Wish List’ of products I most definitely want, and ‘Try List’ which are products I want to try first to see if I like them or not.

Wish List
Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup Compact
‘Giorgio Armani Beauty introduces a new expression of Maestro Haute Couture foundation. Its revolutionary texture is now available in a compact.
This multi-purpose product conceals like a foundation, offers precision touch-ups and camouflages blemishes.

The flat surface of the brush allows you buff products to achieve a flawless finish. Perfect for applying and blending liquid and powder products.’
Origins Mega-Mushroom Skin-Calming Face Mask
‘Dr. Weil for Origins™ Mega-Mushroom Skin-Calmin creamy treatment mask with Hypsizygus Ulmarius, Cordyceps and Reishi mushrooms along with Ginger, Holy Basil and Turmeric rushes to relief to challenged skin to help soothe signs of compromise. Chinese Black Bamboo Leaf Extract, celebrated for centuries as a symbol of eternal youth, helps quell and calms visible redness and reactivity. Fat Face Protea Check Pyjama Shorts
‘Cute check shorts with frill edges and lace trims. Pearl buttons, soft brushed cotton, frilled edge and herringbone drawcord.’

Try List
(Basically this is a list of products I want to really test this month and hopefully like and buy)
Origins Quick-Hide Longwearing Concealer
‘Shadows, wrinkles and redness will never know what hid them. Soft-focus filters diminish fine lines and flaws. And the creamy, fix-it-and-forget-it coverage floats over skin with the greatest of ease. No creasing, no caking, no stuck-in-one-spot. Long-wearing. Heat and sweat resistant.’

Too Faced Absolutely Flawless Concealer
‘Creamy, pigment-rich, buildable formula smoothes on easily to provide sheer-to-full coverage. A naturally powerful combination of Vitamins A, E, and Chilean Tree and bark extract moisturizes, fights puffiness, and firms skin to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and the loss of elasticity. An innovative blend of Natural Marine Peptides and hyaluronic filling spheres help to increase eye area's hydration level to smooth surface imperfections.’

NYX ND Photogenic Concealer Wand
‘This lightweight cover-up obscures imperfections, discoloration and under eye circles, without ever looking cakey or obvious. Little wonder the Concealer Wand is one of our best-sellers. The concentrated, emollient-rich formula goes on like a dream, and creates medium to heavy coverage. Use the lavender for sallow skin, the green to reduce the appearance of redness and the yellow for under-eye darkness’

As you can see, there are 3 different concealers on this list. The main reason for this is because I’m attempting to find the perfect concealer to help cover mainly blemishes without being overly heavy. Therefore these are the top 3 concealers I have found which don’t cost and arm and a leg.

Lancôme Gloss in Love – Shades 383 and 385
‘This moisturising lip gloss envelops lips in a brilliant high-shine, while our innovative double-sided applicator provides customisable coverage. Our unique curved Lip Shaper coats the lower lip while the pointed Lip Liner precisely defines the upper lip for a sophisticated look. Choose from 12 instantly addictive shades to create your own shimmering, show-stopping lip effects.’

Dior Addict Gloss – Shades 122, 382 and 771
‘Its magical formula gives lips unprecedented mirror shine and incredible comfort. Its secret: the Mirror Shine Complex with polarized crystalline micro-spheres that adjust the reflection of light to create the magic of a perfect mirror.  The gel lipcare formula, enriched with hyaluronic acid spheres, plumps and moisturizes lips for an intensified volume-boosting effect.’

Dior Pore Minimizer
‘A skin-refining primer that mattifies and refines the skin, minimizes pores and smooths fine lines immediately upon application. Its formula evens out the complexion and erases blemishes with a sheer and weightless finish.’

Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser
‘Maybelline Baby Skin provides a matte finish and leaves the skin fresh, soft and protected. The gel texture in Baby Skin instantly helps to vanish pores and makes the skin feel light.

Yes this is the battle of the pore minimizer’s…high end vs. drugstore.
