Ciate -
Haute House Fall Collection
Recently I’ve really
loved Ciate polishes, the colours are
beautiful and the application is stunning. However there new Fall collection is
just…breath taking!
The product description
states; ‘The Fall edition of Ciaté’s seasonal House Collection
brings a seductive set of one-stroke shades to bring out your inner sex kitten.
Inspired by luxe lingerie labels, these colours are perfect for pairing with
lace and with lashings of gloss and lustrous shimmer they are a must have date
night mani. With high pigment one stroke colour, this is one satisfying
quickie!’
Firstly I have to say the packaging is just
amazing, which isn’t anything new for Ciate. The stunning little haunted house
box opens up to reveal a different nail polish behind each door. I don’t usually
keep hold of the boxes polishes come in, however this is one box I’m definitely
keeping.
There are five in the collection. First of all
is ‘Knee Highs’, which is a stunning
deep, inky, royal blue.
’Sass Pot’
is a true lightening purple, in some lights it looks black however you can
definitely see that streak of beautiful purple shining through.
’Tickle my Fancy’ is an amazing rich
emerald, I think this is truly perfect for autumn, it just stunning. ‘
Can Can’ is a deep burgundy, something
everyone needs for autumn lastly is ‘For
the Frill of It’ which is a molten gold colour, its quite hard to
describe this shade exactly because its quite multi tonal. I actually (unlike
most collections) love each an every shade, when I bought it I wasn’t sure on
‘Tickle my Fancy’ or ‘For the Frill of it’, however I think that’s due to them
being two colours (green and gold) that I have never owned, and therefore was
unsure of them (maybe a little weary). However, they are truly sunning and I
can see me wearing each of these colours in one big circle.
The shades are very autumnal, so they're perfect
if you're that type of organised girl who updates even her nail polishes to
suit the season. I personally think they summed up autumn in a beautiful
way, and due to them being mini sized, they allowed you to swop and change as
much as you liked throughout autumn. They're incredibly high gloss and full
coverage, each has almost an ink quality to it that I absolutely love. They go
on perfect without any streaking, personally I do find two coats do each polish
beautifully, however with some shades you could get away with just one coat if
you were in a rush. This stunning little set costs £22, which I think for 5,
stunning, must have fall shades, is definitely a must have.
I
know you shouldn't really buy make-up because of the box it's in…but can you
resist this?
